Soy free.....what's in it then?
I was so happy when I discovered the 'Pulled Oats' from Gold & Green which I made this shell pasta with. The Finn company made something so tasty on the base of oats, broad beans, peas, oil, tomato and herbs. Super nutritious because it consists 28 grams of protein per 100 gram, it is little in fats and contains a lot of fibers.
'Eat your protein or stay hungry'
Food that contains lots of protein mutes the hunger feeling. A large consumption of protein makes sure that your brain is getting less stimulated by hormones that stimulate hungry!
200 grams of big shell pasta
600 grams of tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
fresh herbs such as a twig of oregano, some basil leaves and a small twig of rosemary
salt / pepper to taste
100 grams of vegan mozzarella
package of 'Pulled Oats' Tomato from Gold & Green
some olive oil
Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F.
Cut the tomatoes, peel and cut the onion and cut the garlic. Bake the onion and garlic in a pan on a low heat and add the tomatoes and the herbs. Now bake this on a medium heat until the tomatoes are softened. Poor everything in a (measuring) cup and puree.
Now add the package 'Pulled Oats' Tomato and mix it all together. Set aside.
Cook the shells 'al dente' in some water and a small splash of olive oil and salt. Drain them, wash with cold water and let them cool down.
Now fill the shells with the pasta sauce and put them all in an oven scale. Sprinkle some vegan mozzarella over them. 25 minutes in the oven.
Serve with some fresh herbs!
