The reason I share this recipe for vegan nasi herbs with you is because a lot of the ones you can buy in the supermarket are not vegan and because they consist lots of salt. And mainly because my foreign followers can't buy this in a pack in the supermarket in their country or don't even know what nasi is!

The reason I share this recipe for vegan nasi herbs with you is because a lot of the ones you can buy in the supermarket are not vegan and because they consist lots of salt. And mainly because my foreign followers can't buy this in a pack in the supermarket in their country or don't even know what nasi is! A big pan full of nasi is such comfort food and easy to make. Recipe coming soon! First try to make these herbs for the Dutch vegan sausage rolls.. Een kind kan de was doen 😉


Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp ground coriander

  • 2 tsp ginger powder

  • 2 tsp ground Laos herbs of fresh finely chopped

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 2 tsp ground cumin powder

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 large onion

  • ½ red pepper (remove the seeds)

  • touch of salt


Cut the onion, the red pepper and the garlic very fine and bake this in a frying pan for 5 minutes on a medium heat.

Mix all the herbs in a bowl and add this to the mixture in the frying pan. Bake this for another 2 minutes.

Put everything in a mortar and ground it.
