Now my husband reached the age of 30 we decided to throw a party. Now anybody who has ever been to a party of mine know that they will not die out of starvation. I love observing how everybody enjoys my homemade vegan dishes. But what kind of tasty bites do you make when you are a vegan? In my opinion if you don't eat it yourself don't buy it for others. At least this would not feel right for me. I love making a big party food table with all kinds of colorful food. You can really achieve this by making wraps. So I started making a wrap with chicken free slices from Quorn. I make vegan chicken wraps with this product.
1 pack of plain tortilla wraps
1 pack of chicken free slices (Quorn)
1 pack Violife creamy original flavour (or any vegan softcheese)
1 handful of pine nuts
salt / pepper
Spread the vegan softcheese over the tortilla wrap. Divide 2 or 3 chicken free slices over the wrap. Salt / pepper. Sprinkle some pine nuts over the wrap and add 2 lettuce leaves. I always cut off the lower part of the wrap because I think otherwise it's to much dough. Roll up as tight as you can. Wrap in plastic foil and place them in the fridge for a couple of hours so they will be lovely smooth. Now they are ready to be cut and eat!
