I always divide this vegan kids spaghetti sauce in 5 small freezer trays. Super handy if you, for example, are in time shortage or when you have no taste for extensive cooking. Though I use this sauce often (like in our home) when my husband and I are eating a very spicy curry which your kids can not handle yet ;).

This vegan spaghetti sauce is super fast and easy homemade and is loaded with vitamins.

5 small one person freezer trays

Ingredients:

  • 4 large fragrant tomatoes

  • 1 onion

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • ½ tsp Italian herbs

  • salt / pepper to taste

  • 2 tsp tomato puree


Cut the tomatoes, peel and cut the onion and cut the garlic. Bake the onion and garlic in a pan on a low heat and add the tomatoes and the herbs. Now bake this on a medium heat until the tomatoes are softened. Add the tomato puree and bake this for a couple of minutes. Poor everything in a (measuring) cup and puree.

For Jane I always buy yellow lentil spaghetti. Prepared with 90% legumes. This spaghetti is a source of protein and fibers and gluten free! The taste is natural with a touch of nuttiness. Ideal for kids!
