Let's go Greek!
Since we can buy vegan feta cheese in our local supermarket I can't resist going on a Greek journey again.
Earlier I made a Greek salad with this amazing plant based cheese. This time I make an amazing vegan feta cheese spread. Ideal for lunch but also brilliant for parties! Without animal fats. Because that is totally not necessary and not good for your health!
200 gram vegan feta cheese (I use Green White Block from Violife)
4 grilled paprika's out of a jar
2 cloves of garlic, peeled
pinch of chili flakes
salt / pepper
1/3 tsp spicy paprika powder
optional for serving: crackers, paprika and spring onions
Drain the feta cheese and the paprika and put this in a food processor together with the garlic, chili flakes and paprika powder. Add salt and pepper to your taste.
Turn on the food processor and mix everything together until you have a smooth spread.
Super nice on a cracker! Serve with some chopped paprika and spring onions.
If you do not own a food processor you can always mix everything with a mixer in a measuring cup or something!
