This vegan apple and blackberry crumble is a delicious dish that you can serve hot or cold. Serve it with a scoop of vegan ice cream or in a bowl of Alpro Go On for example!
For years there were very few blackberries in the forest. Now it is full of them (how could that be? In my eyes, nature looks a lot better since the traffic has been virtually silent due to the Corona virus).
Jane and I picked the blackberries for this vegan apple and blackberry crumble all by ourselves. Then it is even more delicious, picking berries in nature;) And we immediately made beautiful new memories...
250 grams of blackberries
1 apple, cut into cubes or small slices
50 grams of vegan butter, cut into cubes
1 tbs maple syrup
100 grams of oats
2 tbs hazelnut flour or almond flour
1 tbs date syrup
1 tsp pumpkin spices (cookie spices)
Preheat the oven to 190ºC / 390ºF.
- Put the blackberries and the apple in an oven dish.
- Place the oatmeal, hazelnut flour and biscuit spices in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Add the date syrup, maple syrup and the butter. Knead everything together with your hands. Make a crumble.
- Cover the blackberries and apple with the crumble. About 35 minutes in the oven.
Earlier I made vegan apple pie!
