I am not lying. This is the best vegan tuna salad ever!

How do you make the best vegan tuna salad ever? Well, in December I received a package from the best vegan webshop Veggiedeli, including 'Wie Tuna Original'. Until today it has been in my fridge because I actually didn't know what to do with it and the package just looked very much like the real thing. I was a bit afraid of it haha.

Now I have taken out my old cookbooks where I once wrote down a non vegan tuna salad. I remember this tuna salad was a real hit when I made it at parties. So I took that recipe and used the Wie Tuna Original instead of real tuna (duh) and ow my god I have never made such a treat! This is the best vegan tuna salad ever guys!

My other vegan tuna salad recipe is also very tasty natural and super healthy! This is delicious as a salad and still one of my favorite bread spreads. But the best tuna salad ever ... that comes closest to 'the real thing'. Yes that's really this recipe below!

Ingredients for the best vegan tuna salad:

  • 6 full tbs of vegan soy quarq

  • 3 cloves of garlic, squeezed

  • salt / pepper to taste

  • ½ courgette, in slices

  • 1 red onion, in rings

  • 4 radishes, sliced

  • ½ bag of arugula salad


  1. Open the Wie Tuna Original package, put the contents in a bowl and pull the vegan tuna apart with your hands.
  2. Add the vegan soy quarq, vegan mayo, mustard, black olives, apple, salt / pepper to taste and the sambal. Mix everything well together.
  3. Bake the rolls in the oven according to the packaging.
  4. Meanwhile, make the sauce: Mix 6 tbsp vegan quarq with 3 cloves of crushed garlic and some salt and pepper.

  6. Cut the rolls open and smear both sides generously with the sauce. Put some arugula lettuce on top, the zucchini slices and the radishes.
  7. Now take a bizarre amount of vegan tuna salad and put it on top (believe me you want this), and place some sliced ​​onion rings on top.
